About me
Hi!! I'm Emily, creator of Embodied Comedy, an approach that uses the tools of improv to help people access greater presence, confidence, and aliveness in their everyday lives. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 15 and later navigated my own healing journey, and I discovered improv as a powerful way back into my body; it's a practice of nervous system regulation, creative courage, and joyful self-trust. I’ve been performing improv since 2018 and teaching since 2020, and my work blends embodied awareness, play, and emotional depth in a way that is accessible to beginners and transformative for seasoned creatives. I’m also a mom, producer, and facilitator, and I believe presence is the only prerequisite for powerful creative work.
